Very smart.

very nice

I've got to admit the more I see the Rallye Green vRS' the more I like them.

Very Nice Fabia vRS.

Davy

Very nice, thanks for the photos. I'm another one who's liking this colour now after first thinking it was a bit too bright.

One or two issues

The oil temperature is blank..How long does it take to show a temperature?

Headlights set way too low...Easy to adjust??

Cental locking needs 3 presses on the key fob to unlock all the doors..Theres no convenience mode in MaxiDot!!!

Alarm blip not activated..Again cant be done in Maxidot.!!!!

Apart from this...a real cracker!!!

Looks like the majority of customers have gone for green or white at this stage. Nice combo and options.

Car looks great amongst the greenery, nice photos! Hope she enjoys it B)

Chris,

On the Mk1 vRS there are two small thumb wheels to the right of the light switch.

One of them alters the height of the headlight beam.( other is instrument light brightness)

If its anything like my Elegance the oil temp wont show until the oil gets to about 65-70 degrees (normally about 5-10 mins), headlights should have small wheel near the switch to adjust them, should only be 2 presses for all the doors (at least mine and the Superb both are), there isn`t any way to turn the alarm blip on - we tried the method listed to turn the Superb`s alarm blip on but it didnt work on the Fabia!

Good choice of colour Chris, suits it well :)

I think the car looks best in Green and black (or possibly white roof), although I still want to see one in the flesh.

I thought the temperature gauge shows coolant not oil temperature, unless you've got an extra one.

There is an oil temperature in the Maxidot MFD (Same as my Octavia)

Its accessed by scrolling through the display

Its not once shown a temperature. The dealer told me it wasnt getting hot enough.

As for the other issues, the unlocking of all doors on one press has been activated by the dealer, as has the alarm chirp and the lights adjusted up a little (Thanks Emma in DM Keith's - Bradford)

Interestingly, over in www.civifo.com (I used to own a Civic Type S GT) quite a few say that the car is ugly and they wouldnt be seen dead in it!! :giggle:

Interesting that, as I've come across many friends now who say it's very sporty looking and they can't believe it's a skoda :giggle: ........I guess it's like marmite!

The black roof and mirrors set it off really well, kind of makes it look more squat.

Nice one, still waiting for mine hopefully Jan'11. I have gone for the same colours green with black roof, every time I see another one it reminds me I've made the right decision.... What fuel have you decided on, I see you do a lot of posts around this...? :thumbup:B)

I have used bog standard unleaded.

No point in putting a higher octane in IMO..It wont make any difference except to your wallet

Took the car on a trip to Malton N. Yorks and back.. round trip of over 100 miles and still the oil temperature is blank!!

Another trip t'dealer !!!

Pictures taken outside my house, looks good in the flesh ,would be better with a white roof, both of us thinks so but his wife said it was her car and her choice! Drab interior too dark, and not enough difference between base interiors . Handles OK, bit of torque steer, still think it would be better with a manual gearbox

Oil temperature is only displayed if your car is set on the variable service (this is how cars leave the factory with oil that is suitable for the long service intervals) if you asked your delear to set your car on the annual service system during its PDI then the oil temperature will NOT be displayed. The temperature is only displayed above 50C . You can ask your dealer to re-set your system back to variable and still get it serviced annually.

The above is the case for the Octavia and I assume the same for the Fabia.

That explains it then.

Many thanks
