some are - apparently it doesn't matter so long as they are that part number as the R's have been very reliable

Ordered a set from tps in carlisle this morning £95. Luckily they have a set in, so should be up and running tonight.

hi jpd, didn't realise you are so close to me!

I take it carlisle tps is ok serving you over the counter? my local skoda dealer is not really the most helpful - i get parts from Sere Motors in Northern Ireland, top class service and v competitive prices there.

Never had a problem with them, they've always been helpful. Main dealer are not much cop they're not interested unless your buying a new car.

Just an update on the part number. I got a new coil from gsf yesterday and was informed the number for the latest 'revision' is: 06A905115D

(I've contacted a moderator to update the sticky thread on part numbers)

Thats handy my number 4 coil pack decided to die this morning while accelerating full throttle up motorway slip road in 3rd gear, i thought it had thrown a rod out way it lost all power and spluttered
