Bit of a lame boy racer topic but hey.

I saw a 330d pulling off the slip road today we both rolled on at around 70 (KPH ) right up to an indicated 135 (KPH ) and by the time we both eased off the vRS was at least 4 car lengths in front. I don't know anything about diesel BMW's to know if that's good or bad but he was certainly foot to the floor.

I also worried my friend in his A3 3.2, although he pulled away it wasn't by a huge distance.

My vRS is apparently (I was told by the previous owner but I haven't had it confirmed yet) 190bhp by the way.

Anyone got any stories?

I have a bike so this speed feels painfully slow in comparison, I'm not willy waving I just love the little vRS and it surprises a lot of people.

well, I have beaten a variety of cars, but in accordance with the black remapping thread thingy..bob, my car is an ASZ so therefore useless and slow, however if you have a BLT there is no point asking, it would be easier to ask whats beat you and the answer would be nothing.

I never condone street racing so wouldnt even try

We dont allow this type of thread on briskoda, so expect it not to be taken seriously and get a lot of silly replies.

i was provoked to race this guy on the m62 the other day,

his car must have been tuned because he left my 1800bhp fabia behind :wonder:

i wont be road racing again !

I broke the land speed record in mine. Only a asz too, from what i'v read a blt would muller me. Nice bike btw!

My vrs has broken the space - time continuum, its a BLT by the way.

Oh and i dont mean to brag but last week i burned up the millenium falcon AND star treks Enterprise at the traffic lights and i went onto to go faster than the speed of light !

I once overtook a aston martin in my transit van & have seen a indicated 130000000mph on the clock too.

I thought threads like this were specifically banned?

1. Because they encourage people to race on the public highway (illegal).

2. Because they feature people admitting to racing on the public highway (illegal) so Briskoda may be forced to hand your details over should anyone feel like asking for them to prosecute you.

3. Because from October 2005 the fitting of the BLT engine made racing against anything other than another BLT engined Fabia (Ibiza FR's actually had the old ASZ engine in as they were going to build the BLT factory in Spain mañana) completely pointless.

wait till the OP tries to race a 2.0L fabia! in his car or on the bike!

Did you need a flux capacitor? Or did the torque just take car of that for you

I pulled up at the lights next to a Pagani Zonda and he gave me the nod. I could tell he approved of the agricultural sound coming from my car (I had a sheep in the passenger seat, don't ask).

As the lights changed to amber we both hit the launch control at 4.5krpm (oh no, that's the rev limiter isn't it) and as the green light appeared we both gunned it. It was only as I slotted it into 6th (yes, 1 more gear than normal cars) that I realised that I had actually skipped across the North Sea and I was in Zeebrugger. No Zonda in sight, clearly I spanked it.
