Where and when was the other one stolen? was that an le too?

It was completely standard. Only thing i can think of is the cheap cheap tyres she put on it. Some non brand chinese ones i think.

the other one was mine (see link above) I'm in Worksop so not far away. Mine was a standard silver VRS stolen with keys on Saturday.

Which number LE was it, as it may help locating it if the plates are changed. We can also put a marker in our LE thread to say its stolen.

She's not sure, i've asked her to take all the details she has to the local dealer to find out. Is there anyother way to find out, she has the service book and all the codes in the front of the book.

Thanks for the offer, i'll let u know once we find out.

Tell her the SE number was embossed into the front seats..... She'll have seen it hundreds of times when she was in the car....

Cheers

Dave.

What is it with people leaving their keys in an area where they can easily be taken? My boss had his car nicked when someone grabbed his keys through his front door letterbox. I imagine it must be fun playing with your insurance company after a thief has easily managed to acquire your keys.

They were by far not easily taken, the fella had to climb over the garage in to the back garden, break in through the back door, walk through at least three rooms to find her hand bag and then find the keys in there!

Quite so, and sympathies btw.

Keys for mine were not easily found either.

. Scroat took two handbags outside and emptied them all over next doors garden first.

Weren't in there, so he came back in and rummaged around in the back room before he found them, and has been well documented already, didn't manage to drive away due to being so dead brained and thick, he couldn't find reverse before I dsiturbed him/it.
