2010 Octavia Greenline Maxidot

Featured Replies

hi

i have a 2010 Octavia Greenline and was wondering wether this model comes with the Maxidot system. Ive read that they supposedly do but i have tried enterering the menu by holding the rocker button down on the end of the wiper stalk, nothing comes up, ive done this with the car parked, key in ignition but the engine off.

can anyone confirm the car has maxidot or not and if so were im going wrong

any help much appreciated

It sounds like you dont have it. pressing and holding the rocker on the wiper stalk should bring up a menu, no menu=no maxidot. it does not matter if the engine is started or stopped.

Yes it does have Maxidot as standard

See page 6

For access/operation of the Maxidot system, if all else fails read the handbook.

ok so that link for the brochure confirms i should have maxidot, so why can't i access it??

i have read the owners manual and that to says what others have said, with my holding the rocker switch down but nothing happens

When you open a door, do you get a diagram of the car on the screen showing the open door?

if not you dont have maxidot

Key in ignition or actually turned so the cars systems become active?

The brochure states you should have maxidot so it should be there... (but the brchure and Skoda UK website are known for their inaccuracy...)

as above make sure you have it turned to the last position before you actually turn the car over.

ok so ive checked the display, and i dont get the image of a car with doors open in the display, i only get a tiny image that lights up in the speedometer showing me the doors are open

seems odd as they have clearly stated in their brochure this car has maxidot

and how would i be able to change the time in the display then??

I have a 2010 Greenline. Yes it has maxidot.

Sorry for the terrible photos. When you open the door:

Shutting the door and holding down the right hand rocker (MFD menu):

And viewing MFD (250 miles done from full, with 700 left, the joys of the Greenline :)):

i have 2009 skoda octavia 1.9 tdi but when i open my door there is a red light in the clock but no diagram

does this mean i dont have maxidot on my car???

No, you have the basic cluster. Maxidot will show a large graphic of the car that takes up the whole central screen.

Thanks for your reply

Is there anyway of the standard cluster to mph instead of khp??
