2005 Fabia Rear Lights

Featured Replies

Surely, if the headlights were changed it would be a facelift. But if the tail lights were change, wouldn't it be an ar$e lift?

:D I know its been said before

It is a extremly difficult job to achieve and should only be attempted by anyone with more than a basic grasp of how to use a spanner (so thats me out) and will take you well over 1 minute to do.

1) in the boot, pull back the cloth behind the light cluster and remove the white light bulb holder.

2) undo the nuts that should be holding the light in place

3) remove the light cluster.

4) refit in reverse order and repeat on the other side.

about 10 mins should do it.

 Bloody brilliant!!!!!

I see that the 'faced lifted' vRS loses its rear door chrome locking indicator knobs. Also the co2 is now reported as 146g/km as against 138g/Km on the 2004 spec, why pray tell anyone?

do the new octy mirrors fit the furby ya know the ones with the built in indicators

I doubt it, the plate that the mirrors go on to is a different shape, and the mirrors themselves would be different too. If you want to make your own plate I suppose it would be possible, but thats about it.

Have oridered my new lights and picking them up today

Yes I've been wondering this too - implies the fuel consumption is worse - presumably this is a result of the revised gearbox ratios?

Wow, those tail lights make the HB-version look even more better! HOT HOT  I have never loved any Lexus-style "wannabe" tail lights and this new Fabia arselift :rofl::rofl: is a nice alternative for tuning parts.

Gotta get some on my Combi, too :o

I really like the new versions at night!! I believe they show a "v" on it's side which looks like nothing else, stunning!:thumbup:

Are you sure? I don't think mine do...

The new Fabia's don't, but the new Octavia's do.
