Ring Lap Video

Featured Replies

Hi all, I finally got round to uploading the only lap I managed to film from a ring trip earlier this year in my Fab vRS. It's not a bad lap given the amount of traffic, dodging Porsche bodywork and someone running out of talent at Adenaeur. BTG is 10'20", I think I did about 17 laps on this particular visit and only managed to put the car in limp mode once this time, mods in my sig. The guy you can hear on a couple occassions is my mate I had on board to quickly assemble the camera suction rig on my passenger window, yes I know this is a little naughty but the quality is so much better than bullet cams.

Thanks, John

If you're a petrol head its simply the greatest place on earth! I'll be going back out in August - no touristfharten dates have been published yet so just going to take a gamble, book some accommodation and hope for the best!

Yeah I think it looks like a mud flap or something - pleased it didn't hit me though as may well have cracked my windscreen. There was countless GT3s on this particular lap including the red one that roars past and takes my mate by surprise near the end  .

Love the sound of the old Beetle as you go past it

Cracking video

nice to see the bimmer compact go off at the S bend at the top of the hill at 3:30'.

Yuotube "Adenauer Forst" People spend their whole days at AF just to see the noobs going off there, usually doing serious damage - suspension, blown tyres, buckled wheels, etc.

Not been off at Adenauer yet but I came close on my very first lap a few years ago despite all my efforts on Forza, nothing prepares you like the real thing, TBH I think there is probably an argument for Forza and the likes being responsible for some of peoples accidents round here.
