Got to Wait till Tomorrow now

Featured Replies

Was supposed to be picking up my Superb today but the rear spoiler is still curing in the bodyshop so will have to wait till tomorrow been told it looks great but as I've not seen it yet I only have the sales persons word for that!

as I cancelled my Insurance on my Jaguar from today, been to the dealer and done all the paperwork & the dealer has lent me a demonstrator and will deliver the Superb to me at home tomorrow

Ordered it 10th July Week 28, Superb Estate 170 Elegance, Mocca with Ivory & Wood , Heated Screen, Heated Washers, Front Sensors, Dimming Mirror, Mats, Bootliner, Spare Wheel and Rear Spoiler

The dealer (Wayside Milton Keynes) has been excelent throughout well happy with their customer care.

Will try and post some pics when I get it.

I wish now I had gone for the front sensors, but heh ho.

Good luck with your new delivery. Get some pix posted.

I am curious to see difference the rear spoiler makes to the look of the estate.

I have been trying to summon some words of sympathy, but I can't. My car has been at the dealer for 15 days now and I still can't take delivery. :envy:

I'm sure you will enjoy it when it arrives tommorow. :)

Best regards

So am I, No one has been able to give me any info on the spoiler, Looked on Super skoda web site and it looks as though it it goes over the original. THis is also the first one in Mocca they've sold so not seen that in the flesh yet

Mocca is the colour I test drove and it is a nice colour.

After nearly six months waiting and nearly a weeks ownership I am sure you will find as I did that it is well worth the wait.

Everyone one at work said they were expecting to see a car with a spoiler. They are quite surprised when I tell them my car is standard, I'm sure it will look tasteful unlike the Whale Tail my Escort Cosworth had or the Ducktail that is on my Capri RS3100.

Be sure to post pictures once you have the car in your cluthes, that is if you can stop driving it long enough :)

We have front sensors on ours and they are seriously annoying! Dealer fitted them a few weeks ago and they are sooo sensitive, bleep when people walk past the car and they a two feet away! Sounds like you got a nice colour though!

I see you have a 200BHP remap on your Superb do you think its worth it? and any details like where did you get it done and cost

You should have a switch to de-activate them when not required. Selecting reverse activates both rear and front sensors on mine but the front ones can operate on their own if you are forward parking by operating the switch for the front sensors, switch is on the transmission tunnel.

And if you leave them on you will Pee everyone off with a Radar detector :S

Ours weren`t factory fit the dealer did them for us so they dont come on when you put reverse on and you don`t get the graphics up to show you how close you are to anything although it would be helpful if you were coming up to something like a low bollard. You press the top of the little button next to the gearlever and it turns them off.

Its a Superchips remap done by the local specialist. Makes it go like its been shot from a gun in S, in D the steering wheel wriggles a bit when you give it a hard shove but oh yes its worth it. More than capable of annoying 330d drivers without trying too hard!

Sounds nicer too as you can hear some turbo whistle but that may be down to the exhaust as well.

Thats because the dealer fit ones are not the same as the factory, these only come on when you select reverse and then they switch off when you get to a certain speed going forward. You can also turn the sensors on/off using the button by the gear selector.
