I think I've fused my interior light system

Featured Replies

Tried replacing one interior light bulb in the boot this morning, and now none of my interior lights are working :'(

Anyone had a similar problem, and if so, can you remember which fuse it is?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated :)

No. 15 in the dash panel. 5 Amperes.

Changed the fuse and they're still not working......... :S

HELP !

Hope it's nothing more serious :S

Hmmm - I 'hot changed' the boot courtesy lights for LED lights with no problem. All the other lights stayed on, until they timed out because the boot was open for 30 mins.

There's no chance you have a short in the bulb holder is there?

Thought you'd be pleased-more "blackness" for your car.....

Were they LED's? Have you stuck it in upside down? I found the number plate ones only work one way around...eventually. :giggle:

Was the old fuse blown or not?

That's possible, but I'm not sure why that would stop all the other interior lights working - I can't even get anything from the courtesy lights above the driver's seat

Has it blown the replacement fuse?

I blew mine last weekend taking the interior light out to fit the fiscon - the damn switch popped off and the bit of copper at the back shorted everything out!

I'll try unplugging the light fitting tomorrow, then trying another fuse to see if that does any good

If all that fails I might have to resort to a visit to the dealer :S

All over a f*cking bulb :'(

When I blew my fuse I found it was a 7,5 one cannot remember what row
