Windscreen Wiper judder

Featured Replies

Got new wipers and at low speed my offside wiper judders but above 60mph it works correctly. Can someone confirm that at higher speeds, wipers lift off the screen so my problem is likely to be the wiper arm pressing down too hard on the screen.

I'm using Trico blades that have a deeper wiper arm connection than previous Bosch aero blades I've used and I think this extra depth is causing the force problem. Anyone else had this issue with Trico Aero replacement blades?

(this isn't a cold weather problem, I've put up with it for weeks before the cold snap)

Hi daiking

This hard to explain, but when I had the problem on mine, I just put a slight twist in the arm.

Get a but of rag or something to protect the painted arm, and with a pair if mole grips grip the arm and twist, you might have to experiment to which way to do it but that will cure it, but don't go silly just a bit at a time.
