Is it just me? :'(

Per the other thread. The Jimny has gone, but I tell you, I've been so so absolutely morose all day long.

Frankly, I'm actually quite shocked and staggered just how miserable I feel now, as it was the most horrible car ever made for ON road use.

I stood there in the road watching it disappear around the corner and felt a lump in my throat,

CRAZY! It's a souless lump of metal you nugget!

Any other big girls blouses out there that get all emotional about their cars, especially when they have to go?

Heaven help me if the Fabia ever has to go for whatever reason. I'll be in ruddy mourning for eternity!

I've only been sad to see one of my cars go in the past, and that was my Punto which was a 1.1 engine and basic as you like inside (manual windows anyone...) but it just had character and was thraped from the day I bought it until the day I sold it 3 years later without any problems and over 40mpg average...

Yeah - can absolutely relate to this one.

Loved my old 850 mini to bits ( literally ). We went through loads together, including an unfortunate coming together with the rear of a parked car, whilst I was adjusting the stereo in the passenger footwell

One of my mates kindly took pity and rebuilt the front end for me but he refused to paint it, so equipped with B&Q exterior gloss paint - I handpainted it all. Even had a white roof and took the bonnet and boot off to paint in the lounge so that I could put some Cooper style strips on

It had recaro bucket seats ( so the back seats were inaccessible) and two sets of wheels 10 and 12 inch ( though could never remember which way around each size altered the speedo

Couldn't be at home, when it was towed away - had to take myself out, I was so bereft :'(

When i was 21 i bought a h reg cavalier sri (quite a new car then)& it was by far the best car i had & the one i had the most fun with,i did mod it a bit to(tastefully!) & it would see my friends astra gte 16v off.

sad to say there has been a few cars that have been missed! My polo coupe even though it was slow and rusty I couldn't actually be there when it went. I would without a doubt buy it back!

The Fabia nearly went but it kept me awake think about someone else being with her so its stayed!......................Maybe I need help
