my mate speccy works at rs tuning they seem a good set of lads 203 is useful power and do they drive nice and whats fuel like etc

dont worry about numbers, its how it performs that counts and let me tell you its awesome

mine boosts to 20psi and holds 19psi right round!

drives as normal when you want it to but put your foot down and my god it flies. totally transforms the car

19psi on stage one? is it ok for a high miler with 120k?

will the forge recirc need a different spring from the green one?

As long as you have no boost leaks, and the turbo is in good nick, I can't see why not..

Has specky still got the tigrat? Last time I saw it, it was knocking on for 600 bhp!! Did you go to the vauxhall / skoda dyno day in october?

And you might need a yellow spring in the dv.

yeah he's still got it as far as i know , he's mental with that thing lol and the v6 van etc , no i've only had vrs a month or so now

Didn't know he had a v6 van. Last time I was there, they were going to start putting a massive borgwarner turbo on an evo I think to get over 1000 bhp. That would make the tigra look slow lol

think most stage one's are roughly about that mate

my vrs is coming up to 124k and no problems for me B)

iirc you need a yellow spring in the dv for a re mapped car and i think these are available through forge

lol this vrs jobs gonna get expensive i think lol

lol this vrs jobs gonna get expensive i think lol

:giggle: you got that right  not the right site to be on if you don't wanna spend your hard earned

lol yeah ideas etc are bad gonna black the chrome trim on grill just in satin i think then buy a spare grill to code as well :) and a yellow spring and fit my eibach springs till i can afford coilovers and neuspeed bars plus black forge engine caps and r32 front brakes as well as a blue flame exhaust system and shark map some time before 2012 hmmmmmm yeah could be expensive and then the extra insurance too

iirc blue flame have gone under and re surfaced again taking peoples money in the process so i'd stay away from them mate. look in the for sale section theres some bits that might interest you there exhausts forge caps etc

cheers for heads up dude blu flame a no no then

Regards to the springs in the DV, i have a comp brake one and i can't find the bloody box that has the springs in it so i can replace the spring with the yellow one. I had a look on the comp brake website dosn't mention anything about buying springs. Would the spring from forge fit ok? I will have my car mapped this week and i am still runnning the standard spring

Mine just hit 120k, and it's all good. I wouldn't say 120k was high mileage anyway with these cars. Mine's 9 years old now, and it still feels and drives like a new car to me!

I have the Shark map too, and I think I need the stiffer spring in my DV (using the green one currently). I'll order the spring set and try it out...

Would the forge springs fit in my comp brake dump valve? I have tryed emailing compbrake but i have had no reply and it dosn't show anything about single springs on there website.

Yes mate the forge one should fit fine.

I've got a compbrake one fitted to mine and it came with 2 springs, the stiffest one was already fitted so I've left it in and its fine

mines forge and was a free gift off a mate who changed it after 80miles :) but didn't know the box had springs in and binned it nooooooooooooooo :(

I think they were both black mate but one's thicker and stiffer than the other and iirc it was the stiffer one that was already fitted so left it as it was and it's been fine
