tbh its the same thing I'm thinking for the money your paying I'd expect a little more thought in the process with an answer that does not require such modification.

Hi there. You mean the OEM honeycomb grill just launched at Superskoda? I´ve just installed one myself, yes You still have to cut the bonnet opener but honeycomb holes in this particular one are big enough to get through a finger or two easily for opening.

Remember you don't need the set, just the grill on the facelift. I was already to order it but have had no response to my email questions and I was also put off by the €30 euro shipping costs ! Shame you can't get it from someone else as it does look great.

Yes I'm far too poor to afford a facelift vrs hence my old 57 model

But just fancy using some of the many thousands I saved NOT buying a facelift to tart it up with honeycomb bits

Thanks for the picture. That does look great. I'd like to see a pre-FL with both grilles fitted, I haven't seen one before. I will be ordering both too.

Yep. Confirming the BigCs answer. When opening the bonnet, the bonnet opener pops out. With the HC grille installed the opener will hit the grille when not cutted. Mine is the OEM one from Superskoda (same as installed on the Blue RS above) which comes along with good instructions how to shorten the opener + installing guide.

Still no one has bought both honeycomb grilles for the pre-facelift VRS. Am I going to have to be the first?!
