Invitation To Revo Open Day

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, this is an invitation to the Revo Technik open day on the 19th July 2003.

The venue is Whilton Mill National Karting Centre Nr Daventry Northants. See www.whiltonmill.co.uk.

We have invited clubs from accross the VAG range, and as well as it being a social event and a chance to show off your cars to other petrolheads we are having a 2hr kart endurance race in the afternoon, prices being:

1st place

A full days driving experience at one of the UK

Sounds like it's going to be a blast!

I'm up for it. Anyone else?

I'd certainly consider a visit...

However i'm built more for rugby than karting :D

I could still have a good laugh at the lightweights though :p

fab16v is a 'pro' isn't he?

Better get him involved :D

Woohoo! Whilton Mill. That be one of my favorite tracks that! Best result of the season came there. :D

Dunno if I'll be much use though as I come back off hols the night before! Might be a bit Knacked! :boozer:

You'll be able to sleep in until at least 10 ish then blast up the motorway and get there for just before the start. Then we can ask 'Who's the guy with the tan and bags under his eyes?' ;-)

Might have to lay off the booze on the last night then, so I stand a fighting chance of getting to the meet! Then again. It's only a bit of fun and if I'm still hung over, no-one would dare pass me for fear of getting knocked off! :p

Monkey Hanger, I am not exactly what you'd call sylphlike myself! My kart usually ends up with the power to weight ratio of a small detached house :D

I do however enjoy punting a kart, or anything else for that matter, round a track. So if we're putting together a team, I'm up for it.

Jon

Can we therefore assume we'll see at least one team from Briskoda? We'd love to see guys there, hungover or not!

So that's Fab16V and me, just 2 more people required :D

Hehe...

6foot 3 & 17.5 stone and a kart doesnt go well together, i know this, i've tried it before :D

Oh so you're a lightweight short arse, never mind, your pwr will be better than mine :D

Come on guys, there must be some people out there who fancy themselves as the next Mikey the Shoemaker. Me, I'm going as driving miss daisy :D

There must be 2 more victims, sorry, volunteers

Well if you really can't get anyone else , I would have a go , but also being 6' 3'' and 15 stone , it might not be a great help .

PS I reckon we'd do well if they had a heavyweight section :D

Im up for it Ok'd date with VRS, 6' and 16 stone but its geat fun - on hols for 2 weeks from tomorrow so cant view further posts till return - altthouh there is an internet PC in the Skoda Museum in Mlada Boleslav so may be able to check out progress

And don't forget to set briskoda.net as their "home page"... ;)

Rob.

You have to somehow make them aware of us - want to take a sticker for them?

:D

Oh yes anything to keep us ahead.

As to karting, umm quite tempted, if only for a good day out...for anyone who does go, I might give you briskoda cam for some hot karting action shots :)

Hey guys, do you have any teams sorted out?

If so could you email me with details [email protected]

Cheers

  • 3 weeks later...

Anyone going?

I'm thinking of taking a look, as i just saw on SeatCupra.net there's talk of discounts on Revo Software installs :D. If its a decent offer i could be tempted to break out the plastic there & then.
