Windows & Sunroof half open

Featured Replies

Haven't driven our Yeti for a few days. Discovered this morning that both left side windows were half open, and the sunroof was tilted open (with about 30cm of snow on it!!). Any idea what might have caused this?

Secondly, trying to close the sunroof, it won't close by turning the knob. Only way of closing is to use the "safety closing" method outlined in the manual. But even then, if I hold the "A" button just a bit too long the roof opens fully again. I think I've got it fully closed now, but if I hold the button just a split-second too long, it opens again :(

No chance of getting to a dealer, since the roads are still blocked with snow, so any help would be much appreciated. I don't want to find the windows/sunroof open again tomorrow morning :(

Oh dear! I'd find the fuse Tarbat and take it out when you are not in the car.

Makes me glad I didn't wait for eternity for a sunroof. ;-)

My most enjoyable drive in my Yeti was driving from the Lakeside hotel to Windermere in a lightly falling snow - with the sunroof wide open !

Heated seats on, climate on, but bags of fresh air / stunning scenery - beautiful. Really would not have been the same without - awesome bit of kit.

(Saying that, mine closed afterwards....).

Well, I finally managed to re-set the sunroof, so it now closes with the knob. More snow forecast for tonight, so I hope it and the windows stay closed this time.

Have a similar problem, have found all my windows down 3cm on a couple of occasions including the this morning. Not such an issue in the ski resort but a bit more of an issue in central London !
