I'll be having my 1st. trackday of 2011 at Brands Hatch on 5th. Feb. Lovely.

I used to ride a bit of trials myself (not very good mind! still got the old Pashley 26mhz frame in the garage), met Jon at uni in Loughborough, used to go riding all the time up there with him. As for Andrei, my mate rides all the time with him down here. I took the lazy option of downhill bikes haha.

Ah cool - such a small world! I speak to so many 'random' people who have ridden trials or know people who do... I was at uni in Luff as well btw!

Anyway, car now needs a cambelt change so I'm gonna have a blast at that tonight, if all goes well I'll get myself booked into Oulton Park on 29th Jan...

Cambelt done - exhaust blowing, dammit! That's my job for the weekend sorted :p

I also want to know if Briskoda are going back to Combe again for the spring action day. Anyone?

Hi Adam, good to meet you too, I would have come and said hello sooner tbh, but really wasn't sure if it was you in the mk3!

I did enjoy the day, weather was good considering its winter, even considering it was -5 when I arrived haha - car still had ice on the roof until lunchtime! Rather a lot of red flags though, which didn't surprise me looking around the paddock area, did seem to be a few chavs about. I will certainly be going back to Oulton though - fantastic track, probably my favourite in the UK. You will have to let me know when you are going again, would be better next time to share a garage or something.

So when are you guys next out on a trackday? Cadwell Park is about half an hour away from me so hoping some of you make the journey, be nice to actually know someone when I get there . Sadly I won't be tracking myself due to my Lupo being my only car, an automatic and because I'm not prepared to risk stacking it. Did contemplate about buying a cheap car to give a go on the track and would be open to ideas on this. Not got a lot of cash (I'm contracted just under £10k a year but tend to bring home about £14k) to get things into perspective. I'm a photographer in my spare time and everytime I go, I enjoy taking photos but get annoyed because I'm the "wrong side of the fence".

I live miles away from any track, so I can't even just pop out on a weekend drive to go and watch :'(

Yeah it was flippin chilly all day, garage was definitely worth the money. Will let you know if I head off there again yep!

Thanks for the photo - that guy in the Integra was a bit of a tool! Came up my inside unde braking going into Britten's (first chicane), I would have hit him on turn-in had I not have anticipated the move way in advance - bah!

This is some vids i took at tycroes this weekend. Was in my ST on road tyres with a 16stone passanger. Thats the excuse for the cars lack of pace!

Sounds the complete opposite to oulton, no incidents at all and to few cars to have any issues with. There is a black vectra in a couple of the below, well worth looking out for
