Bit irresponsible really !

Yeah tell me about it, you would think they would realise hybrid vRS's are quicker by now and move over without having to be flashed...

I'm probably getting out of Mk I vRS ownership as they are rapidly becoming the new Saxo is. The base car of choice for what might be politely referred to as carp modders.

I just wish the vrs handled better, everything else about it i really love

I had similar thoughts after I bought mine. It's going to turn into the new 306 D Turbo. The chavs derv of choice. Round here anyway.

Keeping mine until it no longer does what I need it to.

Had a few little things done at 70k... just extra servicing tweaks, and it's running better than it ever has over the last 2 & 1/2 years.. It really feels like it's only just run in.

I got a 20k service at Browns but also got the intake, pipe work, EGR and IC cleaned out.. had the EGR turned right down in the ECU and topped up the Cage Mod. It's all made the thing allot more responsive and smooth.

I loves my vRS, and it's only factory at the minute. I like having "options" for the future when cash allows..

im actually looking at a dc2 right now

:D

I wasn't that taken with mine at first but I'm now quite attached to it - might get a MKV Golf GTI in the summer - if not, then I'll probably just run the Fabia till it rolls over and dies.

Bloke round my way has 1 of 2 Mugen RR's in this country (or atleast it was last time i was on the jap scene)

I'll balance that statement up with one from round my area. I only ever see a couple around here, and all of them are standard! Apart from mine of course, but then fortunately I'm no chav :whew:

There are usually quite a few driven by rally enthusiasts (I for one loved the works Fabia's back in the day), think I saw about 6 once just parked in a random muddy car park for Rally GB. So therefore some of the characters you see on here saying 'my car is all this bla bla, get out my way' are in the minority!

Yes, planning on changing for a Civic Type R EP3 emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Its done me well for 3 years, but fancy a change and something a bit quicker.

lol i went the other way, as i needed a 5dr and decent economy emoticon-0148-yes.gif ...... when you get it, 1 thing you should look up ''hondata k-pro'' emoticon-0105-wink.gif .... and get yourself onto http://civictype-r.co.uk/forum/ im still a member on there actually emoticon-0148-yes.gif

I love mine. I can see me keeping it until it dies. With a Hybrid fitted I still wouldn't say it was particularly quick, but it's certainly nippy enough to keep me happy for a good long while.

bought mine in march 2004 brand new and 51,000 miles later i still love it to bits.Over 20 yrs of driving its the best motor i have owned. Not even thought of changing it,but then again i have the wifes new TT to drive if i fancy a change.

I love mine aswell, it does everything i want it to. Plenty of room, looks good , cheap to run and always puts a smile on my face. Also keeps up with my mates 270bhp astra gsi

I'd rather shove wasps up my bum than sell my VRS!

68.8mpg, £120 a year tax, cheap(ish) insurance, and enough torque to remove the wear layer off most roads.. Why on earth would I sell it!?

I've loved owning my VRS but it's time for a change so it's now up for sale emoticon-0101-sadsmile.gif
