Not too bad... i rolled my ek9 about 5 or 6 times at a lot of mph :o

All that for a rabbit?

I hit a badger last year, kill or be killed.

feck that was a big one very lucky girl

but one thing i will say is she made the fatal mistake in the first place trying to avoid a rabbit wtf just hit it. why o why do people try to avoid animals at that speed is beyond me you will lose control 9 times out of 10 and crash

as for insurance thats going to be long winded i bet

but the main thing is she is okay and lives to tell the story of that little bunny lol

surely it would have only been 20mph more if it was on the main road as she was doing 50????

:giggle: :p

She's lucky to be alive very good friend of mine is Rach speak quite alot she's on the mend but very sore!

Oh dear! never seen a rolled furby.. seems like alot of effort been put into that furby too :(

A20.. I seem to remember its big fat open road no? i.e. M20 -> A20.. glad shes alright though, suppose its lesson for all, kill the bunnies.

On the bright side, I know what the underside of the car looks like now.. interesting.

Yea thats her

Vagingit... awesome...

Living in Northumberland I saw all forms of wild life...

My old man always told me to keep on ploughing through unless it was a deer or something... ;)

I kind of understand what he was getting at as i have nearly crashed a few times due to the odd rabbit or furry critter in the road!

Hit a rabbit a few years ago. Didn't even bother braking. Checked to see if it was dead and it was but it was a clean kill, no blood and a tidy size so it went in the boot.

Shivers down the spine.. Not fun!

I feel sorry for her and that but seriously is the exhaust for sale?

well, ive not been on here in a while!!!

not heard anything from insurance yet so have no idea whats going on but i really doubt ill be buying the car back. as sad as it is i think its just time to say bye to her now :(

Sad to see and glad she's OK. But 50mph and swerved for a rabbit? By the time you've spotted it at that speed, you might as well just carry on.

Glad you're ok though looks like it was a big one.

My friend swerved to avoid a cat and ended up putting his 205 backwards into a tree - bloody wildlife!

(Although he did later admit that he may have been driving "entusiastically" and (like the matrix) there was no cat B))

Sorry if you didnt want this posting up rach.

Just though as we have a fair few new young Vrs drivers, to take care with the Vrs it is a monster.

Dont mean to use you as a bad example just as a warning to the younger generation, they can be dangrous as you expericanced.

And shows how safe they are cos you managed to walk away from it. bones heal

the other night the girlfriend ran over a small fox while i was sleeping in the passenger seat....

what a bang that went with :o

no its fine hun, do what u want with it! i guess if it makes at least one person think twice then its all good

Cool!

The main thing is you are alive, Cars can be replaced....... Cloneing hasnt got that far yet.

On the plus side the 300 lb-ft didnt ruin the clutch :giggle:

Wow! I assume you just "glanced" the tree? That could have been so much different.

PS: This comes from someone who rolled their car in a similar situation, with a huge embankment down one side, but stayed on the road. I don't think I would be here if I'd gone over the edge.....

the weird thing is i dont remember the tree at all. i think i must have hit that and blacked out but i dont even remember touching the tree. was bloody scary and wouldnt wish it on anyone. and it still doesnt seem like its happened. car is being recovered tomorrow and i think when i see it on its wheels with a squished roof it will hit home. then the tears will well and truly come!
