Hi,

My first post, it looks like a new 1.2 se Roomster is favourite to replace my 9.5 year old Berlingo. One difficulty is deciding what colour as there are very few around to see what they look like. The only ones we have seen in the current colours are a black and a miami blue.

I am not too sure about the miami blue on the car, it is a bit too bright. The dealer said it looked good in mocha and rosso metallic. Does anyone have any photos of the car in these colours to get a better idea of what they look like?

No photo's to pass on unfortunately but I'll add my agreement that the rosso metallic suits a Roomster very well. Don't see many around here in that colour, but when you do spot one they really stand out.

I'm also a big fan of the dark metallic grey that they do. Very classy.

Back in the early days there was a metallic mid green available - unfortunately I think they lumbered it with the name "Karkhi" or somesuch. Not an attractive name for a lovely colour. No matter, it didn't last long before it was withdrawn. Still see a couple of those around Aberdeen and they look good on the road.

We ended up with "resale Silver" on one and Polar Blue on the other. Both are nice enough but silver is far too common these days. Must admit they don't seem to show the dirt too badly just now on winter roads which is a bonus.

You rarely see non metallic colours (certainly around here) the few I've noticed don't seem to look great - there was a bright red one that resembled postman pats van crossed with a small fire engine - not a good look (it stayed on the forecourt for months and months looking for a buyer) White ones too are an "acquired taste" - they look like works vans that somebody forgot to sign write.

All this I.M.O. or course - no matter what colour you end up with they are grand vehicles.

hi like i said i like the cappuccino we whent to farmers leicester came back now this morring we changed the colour to the steel grey metallic finely just waiting for a good price for my car

I think the Scout on the Czech site is actually in Flamenco red, now discontinued.I notice the post is from 2008,before Rosso Brunello was introduced.

We have a Corrida Red Scout all set for a week 7 build. I'd be grateful if someone could say something nice about it. You don't have to mean it, just something to make me feel better.

Failing that, our daughter is into both Postman Pat and fire engines so all is not lost.

Just to jump in, I've just had my first Miami Blue Roomster delivered and it's really nice bright and fresh colour! Also would suggest the Rosso, it is lovely but the Roomster somehow seems to suit brighter (happier!) colours....

I've seen a couple of Corrida Red Scouts and I really liked the look of them. I always though the bright red went well with the dark grey body mouldings.

I used to own a Scout in Ocean Blue which was another very bold colour choice - I say if you're happy with what you've chosen try not to give a stuff on what others think. Over on the Fabia section quite a few are criticising others for their choice of vRS body colour, roof colour and wheel colour combination. Some are diplomatic about it, some are quite rude.

My brother has a Scout in Miami Blue on order - he's taking a leap of faith as we've not seen a Miami Blue Roomster yet and we're just hoping the brochure colours and that tiny colour swatch they have in the showroom are accurate!

hi i like the rosso brunello colour on the roomster but just keep cumming back to scatchers so still looking whot colour to have ive seen the mocco metallic half a half with that

but still looks like the cappuccino again was told that they was stoping the miami biue metallic on the roomster how would you get on if you like the white will you still have to pay for metallic

bacause the se cumes with metallic so how would you get on pete

I was told to order Mocha by She who must be obeyed, purely because we have never had a brown car!! but there was a Mocha coming off the delivery truck as we pulled up at Simpsons in Preston, and we (she) thought it looked very good. (In terms of colour I have my opinions made for me!)

I think dark colours suit best, mine is in Storm Blue and has silver roof rails and I think it works very well.

I've seen it in Amazonian Green and also in Black, both of which I was impressed by, but the Mrs put her foot down and vetoed both.
