Baker21's Superb with new 'Winter Wheels'

Well for me the Superb has moved into a long term motor now coming into it's 5 year of ownership with me but being in the family since new.

Having had two sets of the 17" Solid wheels over the years they served a purpose over the winter months also not looking too bad always getting a few comment's asking ig they were OEM, I did however have an itch to change them this year and had spotted a set of wheels that I had seen on another Superb that looked great, so after tracking a set down and getting them refrubed by my 'wheel refurber' for peanuts, I have finally now got them on the car how I want them to look.........

Had to go with 20mm spacers front and rear in the end with some shorter wheel bolts on the front hubs as the longer ones cause some problems in the sense that the wheels don't rotate with them on................

So after a mini detail this Sunday I snapped a few shots of the Superb with it's winter wheels on:

Taking into account the new tyre size with a little stretch the car is officially 1.95mm lower but rides just as comfy.......... :giggle:

19's are tucked away now but will be undergoing either a complete overhaul or will be for sale in a few months time............

Although these look really good above, the photo's they don't really do them justice as they look even better 'in the flesh metal'

Thanks Martin, thought I had to make an effort to get mine up to your standard...........

Adds a certain Elegance to it :giggle:

You could've got tyres that were wide enough though :) or you might find kerb appeal just a bit too much to resist.

Your not the only one that thinks the tyres aren't wide enough but I like kerbs and couldn't find anywhere to supply the proper width, honest................ :giggle:

Yes i replied from my blackberry so dont know why it did it twice :wonder: and yes it must of been a while since i've seen you cos my daughters 18 month old now lol

and the octy has been through a few changes since you've last seen it too, there's some pics in the link in my sig, lastest look isn't complete yet as i'm waiting on adaptors for new wheels which have been sat in the dining room since the begining of december so there like part of the furniture now :D

and i still can't believe you much you've gone into the detailing, just wish i could be bothered to wash my car let alone go into the levels you do,although i must admit you do get stunning results B) keep up the good work :)

are you not going to ud then? and are you still playing hockey?

Flipping heck time flies by.............

Sure has seen some changes mate, Porker rims look awesome and if you ever want to shift them on, let me know..........

Like the change on the interior as well very subtle but I imagine a must with the colour of the interior as standard.............

The detailing is a hobby gone a little OTT mate but I do love the end results, makes it all worth it for me, more than likely won't attend UD and yeah I am still playing Floorball both for club and country, getting old now though.............. :D

Jen's Arosa looks great on the TH's, assuming they are?
