Whats good about your car, what do you like most.

I had a Peugeot 206 GTi before the Fabia. It was always going wrong, I mean always.

But I've had the Fabia now for 6 months & I love it. Smooth ride, great economy/performance compromise.

Plus in the last 6 months I've only paid £250 for a major service.

However I bought another 206 GTi last night and had to drive it 80 miles home.

When I got back in the Fabia everything was so much better

Clutch pedal is nice & light, steering is just right, the position of the seat is so much better, plus it looks subtle.

All in all I really do like my Fabia vRS.

i also love the fact that no matter how full your car is or no matter how steep a hill your going up it doesn't bother it one bit.

I like this too  better than that, it seems to keep on accelerating up some really steep hills!

Ignoring all the problems I've had with my present car, the fact that I kept the first vRS nearly six years and then bought another one because I couldn't find anything else suitable means something. Things I like about my present car:

The exterior design - the Mark1 Fabia has a grown-up elegence totally lacking in the Fabia 2.

The size - I have an awkward drive which means a three point turn with the Fabia but a five point turn with anything larger.

The colour - bright sparkly blue!

The seats - better quality than the custom re-trim I had in the previous car (which I only bought when the dealer said he knew someone who could rectify the absolutely dreadful standard seat material).

The performance/insurance balance - easily seems to be the lowest grouped performance car.

The economy - even if the fuel computer is hopeless.

The large rear numberplate I have fitted.

The registration number - which has been on my last four cars.

The parking sensor - despite initially wondering why such a small car would need them.

... and

Cruise Control

The strap to pull the hatch back down

The rubber tray I've put in the boot

The slots on the fuel filler cap to site it on the edge of the flap

Little things...

Torque

It's quicker than other drivers think (even being driven by a pensioner in a beanie hat)

I can find any part I want (including performance mods) at breakers, thanks to the way some people drive theirs..

ITS A SKODA!
