Hi all,

I just bought a 2011 Fabia 1.4 MPi 8v. I had a 1.6 Octavia a number of years ago, but I had problems with it including broken door levers, failing windows, faulty distributors, exhausts falling off and the final nail in the coffin was the gearbox and clutch went at 92,000 miles and dumped all the engine oil over the road. The garage said £1000 to repair, so I sold it for scrap instead. :(

I said I would never touch another Skoda, but here I am 4 years later in a 96000 mile Fabia, never say never! I hope I don't have as much trouble with this Skoda as I did with the last one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
