Could get VERY expensive if it's the inlet side that's failed. One shard of turbo blade (hardened steel) is all it takes to wreck either a valve seat (new head and valve), or a cylinder, if it makes it past the valve. If it's the exhaust side that's failed, any debris gets shot into the CAT.

Its was the turbo blade on mine. Shot bits into the intercooler etc. Thats what the garage said all it takes is one small piece. No way i was risking that. Cant afford another turbo :'(

Ok Turbo's being fitted tomorrow and the Fabia should be back up and running :D thanks for your help guys!
