Its probably not the best idea if you have 2 full sets. I would personally go for the spec 2's first, assuming spec 2's will last between 10-20k. You should hit near winter time so T1R's are better wet weather than spec 2's iirc. Why 2 sets if you dont mind me asking..?

Answering your other question, yes! they will look a bit off the ground with spiders! Im getting Eibach springs on mine but I've seen a few others go for coilovers, flavour of the month is JOM @ ~£200.

I have a set of Octy spiders in my room (god I'm sad).

One pair has 205/40/17 and the other 215/40/17.

The latter has given better protection of the rims, the others have got quite a few stone chips and are more vulnerable to kerb damamge.
