Hmmm, thats 1 thing i never did, take pics of my old motors. Shame really, i would have loved some pics of the Mk1 Astra GTE i had, its the only car i've had that raised as many smiles as the vRS has

Continuing on the Capri theme , heres my 1986 D 1.6 Laser in Paris Blue met. with a janspeed and K&N chrome filter. I bought this in 1994 and traded her in 1995 for the white 2.8. This car only cost me 1800 quid , and was a 1 owner 44000 mile car when i bought her!

I guess you really like capri's?

Yeah I love Capri's , best car Ford ever made , along with the 3 door Sierra RS Cosworth.

my had a rs x pack steering wheel, front replica rs spoiler rear genuine rs turbo tail 3.0 sport interior, minidisc, lowered and uprated springs, adjustable konis all round, 2.8 single leafs, 285 piper race/rally cam, twin 45's etc. capris are the ultimate its a shame there getting beyond economic salvation.

There looks in the background to be several modern cars including a Clio from around 1999/2000. I guess you had his car till quite recently?

And now for something completely different! This is a pic of my 1973 GT Beetle (1.6 55 bhp with a close ratio gearbox. The car is Apfelgrun in colour) I bought this to replace a rotten 1969 orange 1300 bug (no pics have come to hand of that one yet!) that i had to buy for insurance purposes....

Yeah I bought the 280 in 1998 , got rid of her for my 1st Octavia 1.8T in 2001.

..as I said , I bought the Beetles for insurance purposes , after being banned for a year whilst being a hooligan in this car , my 1983 A Capri 2.0S! I bought this to replace a less than 18 month old Escort 1100 Bonus which i had fitted an RS spoiler to and 4 brand new RS turbo wheels also. Needless to say I lost a fortune on the deal (as I am about to on the Skoda...I never learn , do i?...lol) I just had to have a Capri , and this was the 1st one I saw , so it was mine!!!
