vibration thro clutch pedal

Featured Replies

I was driving the wifes octavia 110 tdi estate and there seemed to be quite a lot of vibration on/ thro the clutch pedal, is this normal, thought it may be due to the fact it is an oil burner  or is it likely to be something more sinister?

Happened to me a year ago, ended up having new clutch etc fitted, beware very expensive from skoda got mine through my local garage at half the price, as I have now spent so much money on this car (Turbo just blown) it will be passed on

Depends what you call quite a lot. I get a bit of vibration but no more than any older derv car I had.

£300 from Mr Clutch for a sachs OE or better grade part on a 1.9TDI 110

As for biesse comment on turbo, I think you will find it was probably gummed up with oil and just needed taking apart and cleaning which a decent garage would have done. The variable vanes stick eventually and all need cleaning out (hence an overboost error)
