New sidelight bulbs

Featured Replies

installed a missing fog lamp bulb and replaced 2 sidelight bulbs on my 06 vrs today.... what a polava

Not sure about the fog lights but I can change both side light bulbs in just a couple of minutes... I find the nearside easier as you can get the cover off the back of the headlight fully once the front of the battery tray is removed. The offside is a little fiddlier as there is a coil of springy wire which restricts you taking the cover off the back of the headlight fully... depends how big your hands are I suppose... a small child is a good tool to have if you have hands like shovels!

I've never changed my fog light bulbs, but I've dome my sidelights.

I found using a pair of long nosed pliers to leaver the bulb-holders out was easier. The first one I did, I tried to put the bulb in the wrong way and it flicked out of my fingers, dropped down near the battery, never to be seen again.
