Haha sorry!

I just made it clear that I didn't see why they needed the car for so long!

Well I called Skoda uk spoke do a nice guy phill , apparently spoke to him a few times , expressed my concerens strongly to him and top service he was straight on to the dealer but he was out training. Anyway apparently because my car has a deliver date of 3 weeks in the past it won't flag up for a transporter???? Skoda uk have said this is totally unacceptable and will be sorting this out tommorow .normal delivery from Grimsby 7-10 days mine has been 16-17 now . 6:30 tonight have voicemail from dealer apologising and said he was ready to give me an update ( will be calling him first thing tomorrow)

I think I will be pushing for free car matts and tank of fuel for the **** up..... What do you think

Just heard mine has arrived at the dealers. As I'd been told to give it till next week I've scheduled the sale of my old car then so I'm prob still going to have to wait until next weekend to pick it up... that or risk the buyer pulling out and leaving me with a hole in my funds...

On my way to pick mine up now and had some good news earlier - I'm getting the 3 years free servicing deal as I'm buying on a PCP so apart for tax, insurance and petrol it's going to be very minimal running costs for the next 3 years!

What's PCP is that when you pay for 3 years then hand it back.

PCP is lower payments but option to purchase/finance to buy at the end.

So you get a 3 year service deal thrown in with the PCP.

Still haven't picked mine up. Did you have to blag for the free servicing or did they just inform you that you had it?

They informed me that the offer was on and resubmitted the finance documents to get the offer. Really pleased cos I'd have been none the wiser if they didn't do it and they'd have been able to take the money for servicing straight from me.

Is this a dealer offer or a Skoda UK offer? Is it for PCP customers only? My car is down to be built next week and I'm getting it through PCP.

One last question, and its the biggey, did you pick your car up and if so hope you enjoy.

I believe it's a Skoda finance deal, worth asking your dealer before you pick it up.

Oh and yes I've picked it up, shame it was raining but it is an amazing car. A guy in a scirocco tried to race from the lights and was left looking a little bit silly :)

Well... Leaving for dealers in about 15mins to go collect the beast rather exci.... Aww naw, I've just wet myself, now I gotta change!

Is it normal to be soo excited about some metal, plastic and rubber?

Off to the Big Weekend tomorrow so may pop into the dealers on the way up to see about that and check I'm still build week 20.

Dose your car have the little badges on over the indicators on the front wing.

New VRS and Big Weekend tickets, looks like it could be a good year.

Looks identical to mine, good choice! Did it have the little decals on the wings?

Sorry to hear you've had trouble with it though!

Mine had about a quarter of tank in when I picked it up, first trip I made wa to Shell and filled it with V-Power.

I'm surprised that over the 50 miles it's covered (including 11 delivery miles) it's averaging just over 32 mpg!

on the way home i got about the same. Still its better than my old mk1 oct vrs. It'll got up over time, the one i test drove averaged mid 40's over the 90min mixed drive :)
