I know it's been mentioned in one of the posts by DMAC1969vRS but thought it would be easier to list separately regarding a NE meet.

Who would be up for it?? Whitley bay has been mentioned but anyone got any other suggestions? I'm easy (it has been said). We can discuss timings etc when we get some idea of numbers.

I'm up in Geordieland from 26th July for two weeks visiting maw and paw, so I'm sure I could fit a meet in around those dates.

My only reason for mentioning Whitley Bay was the photo opp, I'm cool with anywhere within reach of Newcastle. Duncan will have to bring his Mitsu!

If im allowed to attend I will indeed bring the 'bishi , and some pics of my 'dear departed' (ie the vRS...and maybe the Slxi 1.8T if i can find them...oh and I'll bring a camera too!)

By the way, Sunderland Airshow takes place on the 26th & 27th. Could be another possibility ? Although i'm not too bothered about the location, anywhere in the North East is good for me.

I can bring Camera's too (35mm and a Digi with plenty of memory cards) So pics shouldnt be a problem.

Funnily enough Panrix, when you are at Jabba you won't be a million miles away from my "gaff". IIRC they are in Peterborough.

OK, so 27th looks favourite - how about venue? Seems that most are from "south of the Tyne", so it would make sense to be that side (apart from poor Duncan coming from Berwick). Not being my usual stomping ground anyone any ideas/suggestions??

KJDrummond1984, Thanks for the suggestion. I don't know about others but a Max Power meet doesn't really sound like the right venue for a Briskoda meet - or am I just a miserable old git...

I did think of Whitby but it's probably a bit out of the way especially for Howard and Duncan coming down from Newcastle / Berwick. Why don't we agree to go with the original suggestion of Whitley Bay on Sunday 03 August. Howard, could you please advise the location as I'm not too familiar with that neck of the woods.

If everyone's in agreement what sort of time would most suit?? I'm not too bothered but would suggest maybe mid afternoon possibly 2pm??

thanks for the welcome guys. i agree with jimmy that the max power gathering is not quite the right place, as it attracts to many police cars. Whitley bay sounds like a good idea.
