Fabia Sat Nav/Parking Sensors - Skoda Uk Update

Featured Replies

Received a call from Skoda UK today (John) who advised that there are NO plans to remove the sat nav from the fabia and there are NO known delays on parking sensors.

Passing message on from horses mouth.

Dealer said the same to me today too.

Although some models may not have all the options available for the MY12 versions, existing orders are not effected.

Cheers

Lee

Dear Mr ******

Thank you for your email dated 28 April 2011 regarding the issue with ordering a Satellite Navigation system for your Skoda car.

I can confirm that we are not experiencing any delays in respect to the problems experienced in Japan. We do at this moment in

time have an upgrade being done on the Amundsen Satellite Navigation system which means that it is not available for order until

further notice.

Thank you for contacting Skoda Customer Services.

Kind regards

John Good, Customer Relations Manager

Worries me that it says 'is not available for order'... will this affect current orders? =/!

So he's said one thing to one person and something contradictory to another.

Haia Adam, I think orders already in the system are to be honoured, but apparently they are going to be fitted as standard in the new seat, Passats and others as well Audi a1 ?, so skoda are being told we are taking your allocation !!!, terrible state of affairs
