Yeah it's not *quite* flush but I dont really mind

Ok that is what I wanted to hear. Got mine ages ago and thought the one posted further up was something newer that fitted better than mine. Indeed it is a minor thing.

Nah looks about the same

Mine also has a gap.

Could probably fill it with a suitable o-ring if you really could be bothered.

Hi guys, with those really stubby aerials, has anyone checked long/medium wave reception quality? I'm an old git who likes to listen to TMS on radio 4 longwave. Ta.

Thanks, it's on the AM waveband at 198 metres. It will usually be broadcasting the same content as radio 4 FM.

The sound quality will be poor, it always is at those low frequencies even with a "normal" aerial, but if you could just check that it does pick up speech that is reasonably audible I would appreciate it very much.

I'll have a go as well

Cheers mate, you're a star, I can't access that as it's blocked at work grrrrrr  ,

I shall check later at home but from the comment I shall be placing an order soon.

Can you access YouTube? If so I will post on there

No unfortunately not, orrible b*****ds at work block everything. I could probably be dismissed for looking at this site if they caught me!

Don't worry I'll see it later, thanks again.
