How to Adjust the Gear-Stick to Gear-Box Linkage

Thanks for the excellent advice. Gearchange is loads smoother now that I have followed your advice. The plastic grippers where also stuck to the ridged bars, so I freed them off and sprayed with some silicon spray. I am quite chuffed, as I had paid a mechanic to check the gear operation and he had obviously just sprayed some grease on the linkages.
