If mine has rattles/squeaks my foot will be hitting the dashboard before its carted back off to the dealership... especially on a new car! My mate has a 1997 polo and even to this day doesnt make a noise... thats how cars should be!!

I would have said the interior door handles... but after the earache I had on the phone last week from the missus, stuck at a petrol station, trying to get the fuel cap off... itd have to be the fuel cap...

(you can tell who normally fills her car up... can't say I've ever had a problem with the cap myself!!)

In that case, I picked squeaks and rattles, definately the thing about the car which is getting on my nerves at the moment.

Xeons, I really dont like other road users having so I wouldn't have them on a car of my own

The interior door handles are fine, you dont need to be rough with them

I dont like electronic locks on fuel caps so I'm happy with the key

The only thing that rattles or squeaks in mine is my Roadhawk,

The waiting time does bother me.... its put me off buying another for the wife.

I'm sure in time we'll be able to add aftermarket chrome/aluminium handles etc

I hope so, but yes, it should come blinged a bit as standard!

The fuel cap. I don't object to the key but it's a bugger to open after you unlock it. I've not managed it once and have had to call on the other half...

If my new Monte Carlo has the glovebox rattle that my current one has then I will be very disappointed. So I am firmly stuck between the waiting time and rattles/squeaks.

No Xenon's OEM. I think i'll just run then anyway but make sure the beam patterns aren't totally scewfiw and put normal bulbs in at MOT time.

Not keen on no heated windscreen either!

Build quality is generally very good (although i've come from a fiat so pretty much anything would be an improvement!) I put door handles as they feel so cheap and flimsy. Really let the quality down.

I'm about to go from mini cooper s to a vrs and It can't rattle any more than the mini did. Right pain in the behind!!

That's exactly my thoughts on xenons. There's always someone coming towards me that looks like the end of Close Encounters, and I wouldn't want to be the same.

Mine does it, so did the demonstrator I drove... Im thinking there's a reason for it, anyone know if they come with heated windscreen washers as standard on the VRS?
