Thank you very much. Seem your friend for life seems very content in the back of the car ! I can see what you mena about the drool now. hee hee...

That is one lovely dog!

A little late to this post, I realise, but I can second the recommendation for the Towequipe boot liner. I bought one from them, through Amazon, and it's perfect. It only cost £28 and arrived in about 36 hours. It's sort of a tough plastic with a rubbery centre to the upper surface and I have complete confidence in it.

Actually, I thought it was so good, and such good value, that I then ordered one for my A4 as well. Both fit their respective new homes like gloves..

Hope you are as satisfied with your order as I am with mine.

Mine was for an Octy estate but the link above is for a hatch (04 onwards - as mentioned above)..

My car hasn't arrived yet (Octavia vRS Diesel Hatch), but has anyone seen the "Boot Dish" that is shown in the international accessories catalogue?

In the UK it only seems available for the Superb Estate, but appears in the Octavia international catalogue.

It looks quite good as it has the moveable aluminium bars to stop stuff moving about.

that is the coolest dog ive seen in a long time B)

which of the above boot liners have holes for the lashing loops to come through or is it a matter of cut to fit? i need the protection but need to hold stuff down in my 4x4.

The Octavia one pictured in skodaphile's post can do this if you just cut through the slots where its thinner and moulded for that purpose.

the hatch bag i have comes with the slots cut ready so the lashing loops pop threw

another vote for Hatchbag. They are fantastic and cover the whole of the boot area of my Octavia Estate. I have had one in each of my previous cars.

Gotta say the Skoda accessory rubber boot mat is superb as its nice and grippy as well so stops anything moving around. Got one in both of our Octy's and it also has the holes for the lashings already in place.

I bought the one from amazon two days ago. It arrived this morning and fits really well. You have to cut holes for the four fixing loop thing-ma-bobs if you really want but it's not necessary If you don't use them.

Biggest problem arose when i showed my dad it when he arrived and within 30 seconds it was in his boot.

Guess I best order another!
