That annoys me f***ing silly! Why can't people have some common decency and hold there door short of smashing yours? I'll be parking as far away from EVERYONE as i can get when my VRS arrives

It's amazing how often this happens. I park miles from anyone and some cunny funt will still park right next to me. :swear:

+1 I just straddle 2 spaces now, don't care what anyone says. Last time it happened I was actually sat in the car and some old chap in a Jaguar just swung his door straight into mine :wall: Thank god for the bump strips on the doors though, they certainly work.

If they are a dent specialist removal firm they should be able to do an invisible repair. I had exactly the same thing on mine just a couple of months ago. 'Dent Devils' of Colchester removed the dent from the inside of the door for £75 plus VAT. Even though the metal was quite badly stretched they fixed it and brought it totally back to new condition. They buffed the abrasion to the paint and even removed that. I honestly couldn't tell there had ever been a dent there and I'm a fussy bugger!

So good luck with that.

I always try and park in an end bay and right up to the kerb, even if i've got to then fight my way through some undergrowth on exiting the car.Usually as far from the supermarket/shop entrance as i can. The return to find some numpty has still managed to park six inches away - why do people do this ?.

Bleh, I hate hearing when people deliberately damage cars... I saw someone in a car park smash a wing mirror of an audi a few months back... I couldn't believe it! ******s

Hate it when that happens.Had a few myself and had them fixed, they did a fantastic job.I just take 2 spaces up now.One guy confronted me once asking me why can't i use one parking space, told him i was sick of my car getting dents due to people not giving a f*&k when opening there door, needless to say he drove a clapped out banger....

If you park in 2 spaces down here you'll get a parking ticket issued by the local authority which is enforceable by law unlike those issued by an independent parking company. I tend to park out of the way, and never had a problem to be honest, neither my previous octy or the current superb have ever sustained parking dings. One thing I have seen back home where the parents live, is a car parked in 2 bays but either side of it 2 motorcyclists had parked and left their bikes so close to the car doors that there was no way the car was going anywhere until the bikes were moved. its considered antisocial and could well lead to your car being keyed or worse if spaces are limited in the car park.

Things like this make me want to wire up a HD camera behind the rear view mirror and into the power supply so I can record any cars parking next to mine whilst im in the shops. Any dings and they can pay for it through their insurance. Failing that - a court summons should do the trick ;)

somebody hit my car once, when i approached them they asked 'how do i know it wasnt there in the first place?' to which i replied 'how do the police know your nose wasnt broken beforehand'. its a sad world we live in where theres sooooooooooooooooooooooo many dishonest people about. i appreciate anything car related is expensive so why dont the dozy tw@'s just be more careful in the first place :dull:

there was one time, the car behind the wifes was screaming its nuts off, trying to reverse, i got out to look and the dear old lady had parked her beloved metro onto our cars towbar, man i had to laugh as i booted the front of her car to help it on its way, towbars can be wonderfull things its just a shame the vrs cant have one

I never park in two bays but if the above happened to me the bikes would definitely get moved..... so they are lying ditched on the ground on their side in the dirt...! :giggle:
