Maybe some ideas for you on that GTR, local guy to me with the 1st 1000bhp in Europe I believe :)

Caught that on GTR register.

He's done a lot of interesting stuff, but I prefer Litchfields because he has good contacts with Nissan and has never had warranty work refused, even on 750bhp cars! :o

Where as JUN1 would cost a fortune (and probably did) if anything went wrong. I know it did an engine already.

Yeah, word has it the engine was £100k+ and the cam alone was £20K+.... That's all rumour of course, I don't know how true it is but It's believeable. The owner imports some silly Supras etc.

As for 750bhp warranty work, well he is one lucky guy! I can imagine spares on those engines will cost nearly as much as the tyres do!

Loving the colour of yours though, looks ace in yellow :)

As tuning is getting more common with the earliest UK cars now falling out of warranty, the cost of more usable (?) tuning has come down a little.

I know Litchfields will give you every day drivability, reliability and 750bhp for around 12k, plus 2k to stop the gearbox shredding 1st, plus you'd want better brakes and tweaked anti roll bars.

Clearly not cheap, but where can you buy a decent three year old car for 40k and for less than 60k in total have something that will worry a Veyron.

I find it very impressive.

Richard what the fook have you done to it????........................................

Mate, its stunning!!!!!

Hmmmm, I've looked closely at the before & after pics & I think it's gone from discretetly awesome to

BONKERS!!!!!

MAD!!!!!

MAGNIFICENT!!!!!

I don't think that would look out of place on a teenagers bedroom wall amongst the aforementioned Veyron, Lambo's etc. Looking forward to seeing it again at Brands Richard

Did you know Richard, you are one of three in 2009?

I do.:)

Never seen another 09 or heard of one, although I did see a 58 reg that I believe was a January car... so there may be another out there unless they were registered early in the year, which is quite likely.

Bye bye Fabia...

:o Not sold surely?

What??

Explain!!! This isn't fair

I'm sad :(

Yes, my lovely little Fabia is now under the care of a new owner.

It's a great car, but keeping it for a few Brisky meets just doesn't make sense.

Since I got the grey GT-R in October the Fabia has done Santa Pod once and the How Fast day. the other times I've used it have just been because it needs to have the oil sloshed about and the battery kept charged.

It's not been an easy decision, as it's a great car being very late registered and very well set up. But there is a new mistress in my life. Big and yellow. :)

And with so much going on the Fabia is going to be sitting there gathering dust.

Just wondering if this Briskoda thread has reached the end now...

GTR not allowed at Combe in September. :p You'll have to embarrass us all in the Yeti again. ;)

Sad :(

As nice as the se was.it is undersable you want to concentrate on the gtr

I hope it has gone to someone who will care for it as much as it deserves.

It will be a shame to see if pretty much the best Fabia on the forum, if not in the UK, goes to waste.

Yes I am that very proud owner driving off in the Picture !!

It will certainly be well looked after and used to its full potential, it would be a shame not too keep the best the Best.

I now have to sell mine, which was previously Clarkey's (a bit of a theme going here) which again is an amazing car, currently in the for sale section and a brilliant, brilliant car for the price.

You must sit down to pee :D

East Yorkshire? no such thing, North , south and west and Humberside

I am not getting drawn into that !!
