I saw it a while back on BlueRay.

 

Honestly I didn't think the film was great for me, not enough about the racing, I was a little bored to be honest.

I did watch the racing religiously in that era and I remember some of them yet.

 

 

I enjoyed the TT movie more.

Have you seen that one about the TT Alex? Can't remember what it's called, I got it for Xmas a couple of years back. Pretty decent!

It's called TT...   :peek:  !!! Ha ha! TT: Closer to the Edge. Narrated by Jared Leto, frontman of 30 Seconds to Mars, who had a big hit with... you guessed it... Closer to the Edge!!

 

It's an awesome film, but not a patch on Fastest IMO. I've watched all these films far too many times now!

Just watching this for the 1st time now and can't quite believe how much of a c**k Alain Prost is/was!!

 

Difficult to tell if he's just been portrayed that way.  Prost seems to regret the latter part where they don't really show the good friendship he had with Senna, this was his take on it...

I can totally understand why Prost would be/is upset about how he's portrayed in the film, it's a really well put together film and I enjoyed it but it's highly selectively edited, at times during the film I did feel they set out to deliberately demonise Prost and yet my memories of watching F1 at that time were that Senna was no angel either.

 

I haven't seen the bike films mentioned above yet, I will have to acquire them.

Not seen it yet,  but starting right now on ITV ...

Loved 'Rush' though, at the Cinema with full sound, Just Wunderbah.
