Featured Replies

had a octavia vrs 2004 for a few weeks

was fine when i brought it and had it remapped to 215bhp

could hear a leak from some where so got it booked in

was told it was the intercooler leaking so they changed it for £150

have got it back cant hear any air leaks but doesnt feel as quick as before

can the equipment they put on put it back to the standard 180bhp

or could it be as they have fitted a cheaper intercooler

used to get to around 70 in second fairly quick

now gets to around the 60 mark and not as fast

or do i have to run the intercooler in

any help thanks

Did you take it to a dealer to get fixed?

It's not uncommon for them to update the ECU if it hasn't been updated in a while, thus taking the map off and taking it back to standard. Most reputable tuning companies will re-apply the map for free however.

Where did you get it mapped?
