Go on persuade me- Yeti or Qashqai

2014 Qashqai looks more interesting though - http://www.autoexpre...an_qashqai.html

Nissan’s focus this time will be on more style and better quality

in a bid to outgun rivals such as the Kia Sportage, Skoda Yeti and Peugeot 3008, and also more premium competition such as the Audi Q3 and BMW X1.

A new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine will replace the 1.6-litre, offering 113bhp and 190Nm of torque. It will return over 50mpg and emit less than 120g/km of CO2. A 128bhp 1.6 dCi diesel promises 60mpg-plus and less than 105g/km of CO2.

That is.....UGLY.

They seem to have 'Juked' it, might look better in the flesh I suppose!

I was thinking the same just left off the frog eye lights,

That's exactly my first thought when I saw the pics.

Don't like the puke at all and I think this looks a lot like the Kia sportage from the front and puke from the 3/4 side view.

Won't be buying one any time soon

It is only what Autoexpress think it might look like - they are artist impressions.

Getting back on topic....

Wheelie, have you considered one of the Octavia 4x4 models?

My reasoning is the lower boot floor height, and no sill to lift over, making it easier to load.

I suppose it all depends on how your chair collapses for transport and whether it will fit the car?

It's a right old minefield.

The raised floor is an option on the lower spec models but standard on the higher ones.

I had the L&K estate which had the raised floor which was great.

All Auto Express did was take this concept below (which at first I thought was the new Cashcow but then learnt was in fact the new X-trail) and recoloured it, added number plates and more production ready headlights and said it is the next Cashcow! See my post here:

To my eyes it looks YEARS better than the current Cashcow. I like it.

Live in North Yorks and have the 4x4 170 Elegance, and it's brilliant in the snow.

Looked at the Qashqai the other year at the Paris motor show and wasn't impressed with the build, Y eti much better built.

I am now waiting for new Yeti same again in Candy White provisional build 19th july ish with delivery for September, ordered in February. Wouldn't have bought another if it wasn't any good .

Go for the Yeti you won't regret it.
