Been reading threads on the Black headlights, " The black pack" look

How do the lights project the Light, I always presumed the chrome inserts in the light cluster distributed / enhanced the light.

Maybe not.....

Dunno haven't driven in the dark yet

Most of the chrome in the projector type headlights does nothing to direct the light at all.

Correct, all the light output is projected from the projectors themselves!

For those contemplating changing to the MonteCarlo lights.....They are bi halogen

The vRS isnt...ie It has a seperate high beam bulb (H7) The MC has a sidelight bulb (501) where the H7 goes on the vRS

We had this type on headlight our last Fabia (Sport).

They were rubbish..Light scatter everywhere
