Well, well well... another 'skirt-chasing' Octy owner.

Rob, as you know, I have the Mk5 skirts on my hatch; but I do like those-may I suggest 'Tiger Seal' to attach them? Awesome stuff, and mine have taken some harsh treatment in the snow etc..

I'd strongly suggest no drilling that low down on the car too, for fear of corrosion...

Cheers skodaphile - thanks for the recommendation!

They're still sitting in the packaging in my garage at the moment - i'll order up some tiger seal and get them fitted properly in the next week or so.

:)

Your car looks really sweet now with the new rims - is it just the angle in the pic above or have you coloured your rear wing to match? Looks great.

One Mk5-related sill question Mr Skodaphile. Is there room for the front mudflap when fitting them on the Octy do you think?

I'm pondering them, but want to keep my flaps :)

could you not just get two peices of black vinyle to give it the same effect for a 10th of the cost?

That may create the same effect from a distance, but the mkVI Gti sill trims are profiled and do stand proud of the car, I think they look fab.......

Anyway your just jealous 'coz no one liked your blue headlights!

Well, these are now fitted, very happy with the result, super-subtle and very OE looking.

I took another couple of pics but to be honest, it just looks like it did on page 1 :p

It's obviously still dirty then......

Thought this was all sorted TBH - or was it just a test fit originally Rob?

Get the current pics up then - or are you going to wash it first?? ;)

.. yes, I am an attention wh*re!

Not for me Rob. Stick to winning car competitions.....:)

I like them on yours because it suits the rest of the bits, would look wrong on mine as its standard

ha ha...! I have entered a few more competitions, but I'm struggling to repeat my PH success. ;)

Thanks. That's the idea - to link in with the black roof bars, black mirror caps, black (ish) wheels etc..
