he has had a lot of people coming in asking about websites for the vRS etc... so I gave him mine which he knew of but couldnt remember the URL and also gave him details of briskoda. So now attached to the wall by the service desk is a sticky label which reads, Skoda websites, www.octaviars.com and www.briskoda.net . So we may get a few newcomers popping in.

I was speaking to Ian yesterday about getting a standard flyer / card that we could all print and stick under the wiper of fellow skoda owners we met on our travels...?

That sounds like a good idea. I have actually noticed a few more Fabia's popping up around my estate. May have to get some sort of cards sorted out to slap under the wipers! :p

The Card system works very well for Capri Club International , when you join you get a supply of them (you write down your name and memb no on the card before you 'card' another Capri , if that person enqiures about membership , you get a voucher to use against items from the clubs accessories catalogue)

Indeed, looking into it, had a rough design for the last logo. Going to rework that v soon. Idea was just a business card over a A5 flyer. Kind of along the minimal lines, web url, world community tag line.

Initially for printing on your printer, but given our numbers I might look into a batch, any body got friends in the printing business?

Or - do a simple design with a blank to enter a "member number" and get them printed as business cards - single colour, so reasonably cheap...

Aren't there someone "online" printers that take a design and produce cards for you?

Offer the template for people to commission their own cards - give them to friendly dealers to hand out, stick under wipers, etc...?

I would prefer business card sized publicity material to stick under wiper blades. Those that wish to could always hand-write a note on the cards, eg 'Hope to see you on Briskoda. Rgds, Walter Mitty'.
