Here's a quick vid we did tonight, done at legal speeds, just to show the grip as I go through the corners.

I'm just toying with it here, you can push it really hard before it lets go.

On a seperate note, I smoked (literally!) a chav in a modded Civic yesterday, much to his annoyance, in my old (now my brothers) PD VRS with DPF delete/hybrid turbo :evil: .

Well, serves him right for attempting an undertake in a bus lane-t**t! Oh, and his GF was in the passenger seat...not happy!!!

I still remember my first overtake with my Peloquin, and nearly diving into the hedge on the offside. :D Grip is immense on throttle in corners (or pulling out for an overtake in my case)

I don't think I could go back to an open diff now.

So for us mortals, what does a full K04 conversion cost including remap etc?

Well I can vouch for Harry's LSD, I had a trip out in it at the York meet, didn't feel that fast as sooo much wheelspin. Then I had a demo in it at the Harrogate meet, it is like night and day the difference is amazing , now he needs a full seat harness now :giggle:

And open face helmets with intercom, you need open rather than full face so people can see you grinning! :giggle:

Nice one mate. I see your torque is down, it should be nearer 350lbft like mine is but that is good power you're making. Our cars are more the less the same :thumbup: so much respect.

Curious as to what I'm actually making now, not been dyno'd in a while and have done one or two bits since the last time.

Plans are afoot for an RR installation at Shark, within the next month if plans are on-track (need to talk to Ben). Is Mansfield within respectable distance to travel from York? We'd obviously make a day of it :yes:

Mansfield is roughly 1:15 max from York so I'd deffo be up for that mate, keep me in the loop :thumbup:

Any info or before and after 0-60, 50-70, 30-70 etc? I guess you would give a scooby a hard time now especially rolling start. I'd love to see how you would get on from a rolling start against an rs4/m3. I reckon you would cream the 3.2 M3. I'm very jealous

Nick, I'll try and do some runs at the weekend and get some data for you. 0-60 feels like low 5's now.

Be certainly interesting to see. Will see if I can dig out my timing box and could send it over to you Harry? It's been that long since I used it that I can't remember which one it is :S Think of a cheaper version of the VBOX. Still proved pretty accurate though emoticon-0148-yes.gif

If not too rude how much have you spent on performance mods?

One day I want to go stage 3 with a LSD. I feel doing this will mean there is no point buying a new car as I won't get more performance unless I spend lots and lots. I'm at stage 1 right now and I think that some handling mods should be next or LSD. Maybe one day I'l go to a meet and witness the beast in action

hmmm i'm running no were near your power yet gettin a little judder in 5th and 6th :(

Think a wee trip to the dealers is in order as the clutch release bearing is rumbling like hell.

Sell yours, buy mine - Uprated pump, S3 intercooler and Sachs clutch already in place :)

(tried this tactic on Dave back in November - didn't work them either!)
