I went to quite a few with the Seat Cupra.Net crowd when Turner and Plato were in the works Seat. Great day out and a great view of cars too if you can all park together

The Golf and Leon are both running a NGTC engine. Not quite sure what the chassis has to do with it. :wonder:

I know there running a NGTC Engine, As far as i was aware 2013+ All BTCC Cars must run NGTC Chassis aswell but i carnt find anything one internet about it now

I am a veteran of the Hatch, we have an executive box booked for the final 3 rounds this year, and no doubt we will be there for 2012 season also. If you fancy the trek, it would be good to meet up with you and any other Briskodians in attendance.

Agreed, the S2000 is the spec of the engine, basically a normally aspirated 2.0, where as the NGTC is the 2.0 next generation turbo, however some of the cars are FULL NGTC spec where all the components, chassis and even body are interchangable.

AFAIK all entries in the WTCC are running NGT cars but the 1.6 version.

The Leon and Golf are whats known as a S2000 Chassis aswell thought ,S2000 chassis with a NGTC Engine Just like the WTCC Cars where S2000 Chassis with D2000 Engines until they switched to the 1.6T

There are 3 types of Chassis

S2000- Golf,Leon,Cruze,Civic,Focus,320si,Vectra,Lacetti,

NGTC- Avensis, Insignia, Gen-2, A4

BTC- Intergra

Which means You could run a NGTC Chassis (Insignia for example) with a S2000 Aspirated Engine in this years competition or S2000 Chassis with NGTC Engine etc etc

thats our Gazebo, goes everywhere with us, Sunday mornings we set it up and cook Bacon baps and coffee etc under it! Little kitchen area, Wasnt a car under it

For the first time ever thought this year we had a complaint loged against us by a couple who where also on south bank claimed it was blocking there view (They arrived after it was set up and decided to sit behind it) so MSV Ordered we take it down (this is after everybody got robbed on camp site friday night because MSV Didnt supply security even though we had paid for it), After it went down the couple sat in there car all day reading magazines and didnt even watch the races, The guy who was lets say a wimp didnt say boo, It was his Fat Munter of a Chavette GF who was doing all the complaining

For anybody whos going to the remaining BTCC Weekends come find us and say hi, Aload of us will be at Knockhill soon, Im not going Snetterton

Saw you all setting up at Thruxton near to the complex on Saturday evening (at least I think it was you) I go to Thruxton every year with a mate, he gets me in with one of his free tickets as he is a marshall.

How much is it to get in now as its been quite a while since ive last been to a race. Also is there anything arranged with Briskoda moderators etc only asking cus it used to be arranged via the scn boys and then we paid when we got there and set up camp ?

Its around £25 for a sunday ticket, Everybody pays for themselves and sorts there own tickets

:) small worlds.

I was talking to Skoda yesterday about a few things... a hint was dropped about racing adaptations, in another thread of the chat I dropped one about tickets that SEAT used to issue....

Then today I was talking to Rockingham about a meet, only they had been talking about Skoda's just as I got in touch... eerie.

Lets see what comes of it all.
