Well its this one it has soo much wrong with it, has 135k so i was like pinch of salt then i got the keys, only 3 doors unlock, have to open passenger door manually, the interior trim is coming off around the gearstick and looks like someone has done a bodge job on the radio as the top buttons are all wonky and dont work well, for an English car (unless they all do it) the aircon display is in Fahrenheit, engine is very rattly, and apparently someone has reversed into the front of the car on the forecourt (if they did they went at a rate of knots to buckle the whole wing and take out most of the light)plus all the boot trim is messed up and doesent fit

LOL.

walk away.

On the climate control mate they can be changed. iirc its the Auto button and the one above or below together.

also you can do a test on it by holding the 2 extrem buttons in while turning on the ignition I think, something like that and it goes thru a test. cant remember now but I was board one day and read the manual on it lol.

good luck finding one.

Black on black is nice mate

Both mine back in Jan iirc, swapped the rims over just to see how the 51 plate went on them.

A small tip from me tho mate, I found the 51 plate car was better made and quieter than my newer 05 car.

IF and its a big IF you can get hold of a good 51 car Id say it would be better than a newer one. so long as its been looked after.

all the best mate.

I saw a dog when i was looking, seller adament that it was not an ex cop car, yet could not explain why it had bits of the dash missing and loads of bolt holes on the boot floor (think it was armed response?). Coolent was the wrong colour, aparently only vw's have red coolent and skodas had the normal blue, had a major warped disc that was due to it being sat for a month after the mot (all 4 discs were nice n shiny and it had done 400 miles since the mot 3 weeks before!)

Still took it out for a good thrash tho

lol, VAG all use the same stuff lol. and dont the cop cars have extra fuel tanks dont they? well the traffic ones.

sales people will say any crap to sell a car lol. I never listen to them, jujst get on with looking over it and coming to my own conclusion.

good one for taking it out tho and having fun in it lol

as far as i know a sales person will hide evry bad point from you and even if they are alerted they fob it off

Sold mine to dubbersportsvw for £1350 and its now advertised as £2300

That was full history and 105k
