I've just brought a 2007 fabia vrs and i want to remap it, the only problem is i don't know who to turn to when it comes to remapping it. I've seen that celtictuning.co.uk give huge power, 193bhp (meant to anyway), but is this going to be reliable as all the rest of the car is standard. All i want is a reputable company who will give me atleast 175+ bhp without messing up my clutch in 2 weeks, at a reasonable price. Any suggestions would be great!! Cheers Guys!

Shark, Jabbasport and Unit 18 get good reviews in my experiance.

My car was prepped by Jabbasport.

193 bhp is just not possible from the standard turbo. 175 is pushing it quite a lot as well.

Peak power is all very good for bragging down the pub with your mates, but a reputable tuner won't be chasing headline figures, they'll be making the car more responsive throughout the entire rev range, transforming the driveability of the car, and importantly making sure that there isn't a huge torque spike at low revs, as that's what kills clutches.

I'd throughly recommend Shark Performance.

I had a good map done by two guys that have mapped for ten years or more. Gwyn and Luke Davies @ Shobdon, Herefordshire. Fantastic job.

i got mine done by shark performance last month as part of a group buy the were running on briskoda. iirc they normally charge £299 for the map and then you cn pay £150 for an optional STS box so you can do it from home. the map is very responsive and unlike most remaps i have seen doesn't smoke heavily from the exhaust.i'd highly recommend them

I would suggest P Torque in Wolverhapmton. Will (the owner I think) has mapped loads of PD130 Fabia's and Ibizas.

Thats who I was going to suggest going off your location. When I was considering a remap I read plenty of good reviews about them. I think Shark, Unit18 or Performance Torque generally seem the best to go with just depends how far you want to travel.
