More SsangYong Korandos sold in Spain than Yetis?

Featured Replies

Hate to say it, but it does look less brick like than the Yeti, although the brick shapes look more tough & workman like, the designed ones look soft & brittle, as though a samll pothole would damage it.

Just back from in 2 weeks Mallorca and spotted a white Yeti parked up in side street in Can Picafort.

Just read this. OK 4 years too late but....

I live in Spain and have a 5 year old Yeti. I am now looking to get a new car, a new Yeti is still favourite. Anyway, SsanYong's do seem to be popular here. I see more SsangYong's than Yetis but Skoda's are popular, Most taxis seem to be Octavia's.   Not sure why Yetis have not caught on here, maybe because SsangYongs are cheaper. Also Nissan Qashqui's can be bought for about the same price as a Yeti and they are everywhere here. My previous car was a Qashqui. My friend bought a Jeep Renegade about 5 months ago, terrible car, in my opinion. So I guess it looks as if my new car will be another Yeti, just a different colour!!

Remember we laughed at Skoda's a few years ago, then we laughed at Kia's. Who is laughing now?

SsangYong is a long established Korean car maker and they have been on a very positive trajectory, the reviews of the Korando have generally been positive so maybe the next version will be up with the best at a competitive price, particularly if Skoda etc.keep hiking prices.

What was a bit of a joke some years ago Kia have sold over 500,000 cars in the USA and sales are rising each month on month.
