I have become the latest victim of crashing a vRS, unfotunately my fault.

I was going to wilton house today doing 60ish in a convoy and just out side the entrance there was lots of emergency breaking and with 4 in my car I couldn't stop soon and enough and hit a focus st500 :(

We will be sorting out his (minor damage) but as for mine I will need some help.

I am going to need a new drivers light (standard light), bumper and reinforcing bar.

So what are my options?

Can I get the light and reinforcing bar from a normal octy?

And what price am I looking at for a new bumper? I have all the grilles and stuff so don't need them.

Yes you can get the light and crash bar from any Octavia dated from around mid 2001 onwards. Before mid 2001 the front of the car was subtly different.

He seems ok with it. Maybe a bit to ok? He even suggested not doing through insurance.

I was probably a little too close but it felt like my brakes went gripping.

I could probably get the crash bar and the light for free TBH.

Sorry to hear of your "bump", you sir, are a rare breed, to openly admit it was your fault (I know one behind who collides etc etc), never the less 10/10 .

If every one on the road admitted their mistakes (including me) we would have hardly any "road rage".

NB: On a lighter note: I must correct my learned friend the best Lambo is :- Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 SV and it would fit in my garage, sad or what

I can't deny it, I hit him and I have to pay for my mistake. I was really lucky though, because the sl55 amg behind me went around me so he didn't colide and he basically stopped next to my door. So if he hit I feel I wouldn't have a vRS anymore.

So annoyed, that I have never recieved a compliment about my car and yesterday as we where assesing the damage a ferrari 430 owner came up and said "shame, I quite liked that skoda."

I know very well what one of those is and I will agree hands down that it is the best looking car they have ever made.

I am a massive!!!!! Lamborghini fan, hence why I have so many lambo paint codes on my car. But my favourite car is the Lamborghini galalrdo lp570-4 superleggera in verde ithica, nero interior with yellow stich and girgio lynx wheels.

But the muira is a much better looking car bar none, the worst looking lambo is the espada and the most dispointing car is the diablo mk1 (pop up headlights)

Its an st 500 not an rs 500 lol.

Cheers, just so everyone know. It is basically fixed. Still need the bits but she is back in shape now. All just popped back.

Good choice , I am a regular visitor to Pistonheads.com (Lamborghini Murcielago section). Noticed there are a couple of replica's for sale, they look

very nice but dont think id go that route. One day knowing my luck I would prob come up against a real one.
