My GoPro arrived today! Wasn't expecting it so soon, but hey, I'm not complaining.

after thinking a few days about it i finaly bought it and iam quit happy with the result

did it on 1080p but had to get it down to 720p due to my lolconnection wich is limited to 750mb .

any thoughts ?

Nice vid, nice road, great placement of GoPro.

I borrowed GoPro Motorsport HD to test it too. We sell them in Czech Republic and I think that result is great! I love them! Great you love it, enjoy it

I attached my GoPro Motorsport HD video as a tip for placement inside the car

Great built! thanks for the schematic. What was that clicking sound though? was it from the vibrations of the seat?

Its from the gopro plasting mount , just need to stick a piece of double layed paper inbetween to stop the click sound

Good work :) I tried out my mount with the GoPro today and it worked well. I'll have to get some padding tape for the case as mine has a little clicking too. Not as much as yours though. I'll get an example uploaded later.

would be nice to fit it without the plasik housing for some better sound .

and more click sound on mine due to the hard KW coilovers

Does the job  Looks strange though.

If you had a crash though, wouldn't the wood come close to decapitating you?

Quality is excellent on 1080 as well. In your clip, you running in sport mode with the paddles at high revs?

I found the clicking was the foot of the unit where it locked into the mount that has the 3M adhesive pad.

Although it clips in, there is a little movement.

Sliding a folded peice of paper between the two as I was locking the camera in place eliminated all my clicking noises.

Have you tried it with the open back casing yet?

Mine came with a rear door that has large holes, for when you don't need a waterproof case.

That is supposed to give noticable better sound performance.

No, the headrest goes through the holes in the wood, so it won't move in a crash unless the headrest sheared off.

yes i have the waterproof case and the the non waterproof one with those 2 big holes in it , bit the mic is at the side of the device .

might need to build some kind of mount without using the housing at all .

Geiles video und Schöneres Auto auch!

I did a video in my car with my HTC desire the other day on the windscreen suction cup mounting. Looked ok but nowhere near as clear as those videos!

Phil

Geiles? Really Phil?? :p

Steady!

From inside the car you can use a huge number of small HD lightweight cameras (I use a Sony HD).

Where the GoPro though shines is outdoors and especially with its shock/water proof casing. The suction cap is the cherry on top.

Exactly. To see exactly how well it does, type 'GoPro Suspension' into YouTube search :)

And look for the Porsche one in particular emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Haha. Don't be rude. In this context its fine!
