ds2500 and brembo max discs

Featured Replies

As title guys were can i get some of the above for my mark 1 vrs??

Gonna get some hel braided lines and some 5.1 anything i need to be aware of as its my first vag car?

don't bother with dot 5.1 unless you want to change it annually

after 12 months it'll have absorbed so much water a decent dot 4 would serve you better

Ill have a look snow muncher nothing showed on a normal ebay search

And i change fluid every 6 months when i service it

Habits picked up from running my 106 on the roads so good practice even though the skuds not a race spec car

got mine from camskill iirc, were best price at the time, they were for my brembos tho.

This should be the pad you want: FCP590H (Demon Tweaks via flea-bay)

Camskill price

I'd phone to make sure though - the info on both sites is a dodge !

Actually think atm tweeks are the cheaper option thats gotta be a first!!

Sorted then lol

thanks guys

Phone Tweeks...... Brembo max discs are not listed online but they do have them in stock. My nephew

just ordered them for his vrs...... £105

i wouldnt fit groved discs tbh, they just wear the pad faster

Cheif76 ooooh thankyou ill ring to order my pads and get them too

Oet they do yea but they do a few other things that are beneficial

Dust clearance recutting the surface of the disc clearing debis like small stones

however the main benefit of something like the max is the higher carbon content of the steel and thats what im after they handle heat a lot better than a standard disc as the material itself is more stable to a higher temp

Grooves/drilled discs dont really give much of a benefit in comparison to a decent material apart from going ooooh look funky discs lol!!
